Look for the water tower. A 100 foot tower, which one of the chain's founders tracked down in the Midwest, stands outside the club on the West Side of Disney Springs, dressed up with signs and lights. The building beside it is dressed like a rustic general store from the Louisiana hills, with "In Blues We Trust" over the entrance.

How it got here
The Walt Disney World location opened on September 15, 1997, on the West Side of what was then Downtown Disney. It was the sixth House of Blues and the largest at the time. Isaac Tigrett, who had helped start Hard Rock Cafe, founded the chain with Dan Aykroyd and Judy Belushi, and Disney bought a stake in the company in 1995 ahead of the Florida build. Downtown Disney became Disney Springs in 2015, and the club stayed put.
Inside the music hall
The music hall was built for about 2,000 people. Alongside it is the restaurant, with its Voodoo Garden patio looking out over the lake. The decor is a good reason to arrive early. More than 600 pieces of American folk art fill the building, the stage curtains are handmade quilts, and a metal box of Mississippi Delta mud sits under the stage. On Sundays the restaurant runs a gospel brunch with live singers.
Parking and traffic
Disney Springs got its own exit ramp from I-4 in 2015, and the district has several garages plus surface lots. For the West Side, most guides point to the Orange Garage. The Grapefruit Garage sits across Buena Vista Drive and connects to the West Side by a pedestrian bridge.
The whole complex fills on weekend nights and during holiday weeks, when half the resort seems to be out shopping, so give yourself time to find a space and walk. Check your ticket for door times and any age limit for the night.
Universal has its own concert hall across town at Hard Rock Live Orlando. The full list of area shows is on the Orlando page, and blues and jazz dates statewide are on the jazz and blues calendar.
